Google online dictionary describes indomitable as “impossible to subdue or defeat.” While will is described as “the mental faculty by which one deliberately chooses or decides upon a course of action (determination).” My drawing ‘Indomitable Will’ depicts the story of the Greek God Atlas. In Greek mythology Atlas was known as the Titan who held the world on his shoulders. Despite all the stresses of the world, ‘Will’ has enabled man to overcome many challenges physically, mentally and socially. Each muscle and vein shows the strength and will of a man that has the potential to surmount obstacles and overcome pressures of the world.
