The Last Dance

Charcoal and pastel on paper
27 x 36 inches

The protagonist in my drawing is a beautiful woman whose main pursuit in life is one of worldly delight. The greatest gamble is in how we choose to live our life, because we never know when we will be summoned for our dance with death. On that precipice of our death, most of us want a life filled with the meaningful pursuit of happiness, friends and a life lived to the fullest.
