Famous German artist Georg Baselitz\u2019s home was raided after his name came up on a CD bought last summer by North Rhine-Westphalia, containing a list of secret bank account data.\u00a0 It is believed that he was given a prior warning about the tax evasion search and had time to get to Italy, where he owns another property, before the officers reached his door near Munich. Baselitz is one of the world\u2019s highest-earning artists whose works sell for millions of dollars.<\/p>\n
