Nagy claimed that the two works were actually among a group of\u00a0 paintings sold by the Grunbaum family in 1956 (you can read more about that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/new-york\/judge-halts-sale-paintings-allegedly-owned-nazi-victim-article-1.2438755\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>) so there are no issue with title.<\/p>\n<p>Sadly for Nagy (who is now out a great deal of money), <em>Justice Charles Ramos of the state Supreme Court in Manhattan sided against him, citing the Holocaust Expropriated Art Recovery (HEAR) Act<\/em>.
