Hammershoi\u2019s study titled <em>White Doors, Strandgade 25<\/em> brought \u00a3249K ($332K \u2013 est. \u00a3200-300K); Jakobides\u2019 <em>The Ravenous One<\/em> brought \u00a3206K ($275K \u2013 est. \u00a3100-150K) and Nikolaos Gyzis\u2019s <em>Up to Mischief<\/em> sold for \u00a350K ($67K \u2013 est. \u00a315-20K). \u00a0On the flip side, Courbet\u2019s <em>La Dormeuse<\/em> (est. \u00a3200-300K) was withdrawn and works by Jarnefelt (\u00a3100-200K), Schjerfbeck (\u00a3150-200K) and Josephson (\u00a3400-600K) failed to find buyers.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_28352\" style=\"width: 151px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/rehs.com\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/hammershoi_lon.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-28352\" class=\"wp-image-28352 \" src=\"https:\/\/rehs.com\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/hammershoi_lon-239x300.jpg\" alt=\"hammershoi_lon-239x300\" width=\"141\" height=\"177\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rehs.com\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/hammershoi_lon-239x300.jpg 239w, https:\/\/rehs.com\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/hammershoi_lon-768x962.jpg 768w, https:\/\/rehs.com\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/hammershoi_lon-817x1024.jpg 817w, https:\/\/rehs.com\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/hammershoi_lon-109x138.jpg 109w, https:\/\/rehs.com\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/hammershoi_lon.jpg 1596w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 141px) 100vw, 141px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-28352\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Hammershoi<\/p><\/div>\n<p>By the end of the short session, of the 74 works offered, 54 sold (73%) and the total take was \u00a35.5M (low end of the estimate range was \u00a34.974M \u2013 so they made it with the buyer\u2019s commissions added in).\u00a0 Looking through the sale we find that 18 sold below, 20 within and 16 above their estimate range.
