Such a practice would breach auction house rules in Germany<\/em>. \u00a0I think this breaches rules in many countries.<\/p>\n<p>What really amazes me is that according to the article:\u00a0<em>Auctionata, for its part, said it will continue auctions for now and assures consignors that merchandise is held in \u201ca warehouse in a separate estate\u201d where they maintain ownership and that any proceeds from forthcoming sales will go into escrow<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The people I feel really bad for are all the employees who lost their jobs. \u00a0As for\u00a0Paddle8, can they make a\u00a0comeback and who is their &#8216;unnamed&#8217; investor?
