Now, it appears, those collections may we worthless. \u00a0Until some compromises are\u00a0made, dealers and collectors will have to obey the current laws.<\/p>\n<p>On 22 September, three dealers \u2014Victor Zilberman, Irving Morano and Samuel Morano\u2014who operate the Metropolitan Fine Arts and Antiques store in New York were arrested for selling ivory works of art without a license\u2014a felony in the\u00a0state under a law passed in 2014 to limit the ivory trade. \u00a0This establishment is located very close to our gallery and I walk by it almost every day.
