Ten\u00a0of the major works have a combined\u00a0valued of nearly $500 million, and with Asian collectors playing a large role in elevated prices&#8230; it wouldn&#8217;t be unreasonable to think this set of sales will surpass the New York spring sales earlier this year where figures eclipsed $2 billion.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/2014-10-03\/giacometti-chariot-leads-500-million-trophy-art-at-sales.html\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/image\/i_W0LGPdkgM4.jpg\" alt=\"i_W0LGPdkgM4\" width=\"245\" height=\"326\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/2014-10-03\/giacometti-chariot-leads-500-million-trophy-art-at-sales.html\">Giacometti Chariot Leads $500 Million Troph<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/2014-10-03\/giacometti-chariot-leads-500-million-trophy-art-at-sales.html\">y Art at Sales &#8211;
