Ireland’s Great Hung Museum, at Quinnipiac University (Hamden, CT), is featuring In the Lion’s Den: Daniel Macdonald, Ireland and Empire. The exhibit bring to light the works of this little known artist who is said to be the only Irish artist to paint the Great Famine (1845-1852) while it took place.
