There are only a few weeks left to see “Turner’s Modern and Ancient Ports: Passages Through Time” at The Frick Collection in New York.  For a nice overview of the exhibition, you can read Milene Fernandez’s article in the Epoch Times.

The museum has a number of programs relating to the exhibition:

“The Rise and Fall of Civilizations: Seaports from Claude to Turner,” by Itay Sapir, Université du Québec à Montréal. Wednesday, April 12, 2017, 6 p.m.–7 p.m.

“Turner’s Sea Change,” by Ian Warrell, independent scholar. Wednesday, April 26, 2017, 6 p.m.–7 p.m.

High School Teen Night, a free evening of programs created especially for high school students. Admission is free with a valid school ID. Thursday, April 13, 5:30 p.m.–8:00 p.m.

Evening for Educators, Monday, April 17, 4:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. Educators and teachers are invited to view the exhibition when the museum is closed to the public. Free, but registration is required.

The Frick Connection: Turner Abroad, Wednesday, April 26, 5:30 p.m.–7:00 p.m. After-hours course for high school students, college students, and recent graduates under age 39. Free with Frick membership.
