Tonight Christie’s presented their sale of Impressionist and Modern works of art. Among the offerings — Claude Monet’s Meule. The painting was estimated to bring between $18-$25 million and finally sold for $81.44 million! Like I said, when good works come to the market, exceptional prices can be achieved.
