I came across an article for the “Gardens for a Duchess: Autochromes of the Gardens at Welbeck" exhibit at Harley Gallery this morning and the photo seemed very familiar. I went to our photo archives and came across a painting by Alfred de Breanski that we sold many years ago. It would be interesting to learn if this is the garden Breanski captured in his painting.
The exhibition at Harley Gallery features: "... astonishing 3D images from the early 20th century (1911-1928) ..." and runs until October 23.
