British Museum goes modern as it swaps ancient statues for Andy Warhol

According to Hannah Furness’s article in The Telegraph, the British Museum has swapped some of their ancient works for American modern and contemporary prints.  Among the artists they have collected are: Warhol, Johns, Rauschenberg, Ruscha and Close.  On March 9, 2017 the museum will open it’s exhibition: The American Dream: pop to the present which will “trace the creative momentum of a superpower…”
