Here is an interesting story about the recent multi-spectral scanning of da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. I am sure this process is cutting-edge, cost a great deal of money and took a great deal of time; but in the end, does it really matter who the sitter was and if there are ‘hidden’ versions underneath?
