After returning home from his first trip overseas in four years, Chinese Pop artist, Ai Weiwei discovered listening devices hidden behind electrical sockets in his studio. According to The Guardian, Ai has posted several pictures and videos on instagram as well as tweets about the “bugs” he found. Four years ago, Ai was detained without charge or conviction of a crime for 81 days by Chinese authorities and had his passport revocked for four years. Liu Xiaoyuan, a human rights lawyer and friend of the artist tweeted that the bugs could have been placed there during his detainment.
