A young boy in Taiwan lost his footing visiting the “Face of Leonardo: Images of a Genius” exhibition in Taipei, resulting in a fist size puncture through a $1.5 million painting. The 350 year old work by Italian artist, Paolo Porpora, called “Flowers” was on loan from a private collector when the damages occurred. Luckily for the young boy and his family, the work was insured and there are no charges being pressed. Below is a video of the incident:
