Rising concerns come into play as the building owner of the Four Seasons restaurant  plans to remove Picasso’s “Le Tricorne” for wall repairs behind the work of art.  Conservatives fear that the removal of the drape, once used as the curtain in the 1919 ballet, Le Tricorne, may cause damage and possibly destroy it.  While it is not considered a masterpiece of the artist, who has brought in over $100M at auction, it was last appraised in 2008 at $1.6 M.  Also, this work is the largest Picasso in the United States.
