I thought last weeks Armory Show in NYC was pretty intense but this week in Maastricht, nearly 300 dealers came together for one of the worlds largest and most prestigious art fairs, The European Fine Art Fair. The event runs for 10 days with more than $4 billion worth of art, antiques and other objects for sale. Current estimates indicate a 5% increase in attendance from last year, putting this years total around 75,000 visitors… that just sounds a bit overwhelming.
