Second art attack at Westminster Abbey

July 1, 2013

Just weeks after a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II was defaced with spray paint, a second act of vandalism has occurred in Westminster Abbey. Cheryl Corless, from Stolen Children of the UK, allegedly spray painted a statue in the church and was subsequently arrested by police. The act is said to be part of a protest against the family court system by a group called Fathers4Justice, who has encouraged supporters to take direct action.
