The Christie’s sale is over and the numbers were not as strong as last night’s sale.  Total take was $158.5M (low end of the estimate was $139.6M … so they needed the buyer’s premium to beat the number).  There were 51 works cataloged,  2 withdrawn and 5 failed to find a buyer.  That left an 89.8% sell-through rate … which is pretty good.
