BIOGRAPHY - Nancy Fletcher (Born 1976)

Nancy Fletcher is an accomplished portrait and still-life painter based in London. Nancy earned a BA in Visual Arts at Edinburgh University majoring in Fine Art Photography which successfully led to a professional career in London as a freelance photographer for a number of years.
Having previously been introduced to the classical tradition of drawing and painting at the age of eighteen while at Charles H. Cecil Studios in Florence Nancy decided to leave London and return to her studies in Fine Art. She completed a four year program at the Angel Academy of Art in Florence, followed by a year studying portraiture with Michael John Angel. Looking to continue the refinement of her skills she decided to move to New York City where she spent a year training with Jacob Collins’ at the Water Street Atelier and a year at The Grand Central Academy.
