A courtroom sketch of Ann Freedman by Elizabeth Williams

It appears that Ann Freedman, former director of the ‘no-longer-in-business’ Knoedler gallery, has finally settled the last lawsuit brought against her. This one involved a fake Jackson Pollock that she, through the gallery, sold to Francis H. White for $3.1M in 2000.

Of course, like all the other cases, terms of the settlement were not disclosed.  While Freedman might be done, there are still cases pending against Knoedler, 8-31 Holdings (the holding company) and a Swiss attorney by the name of Urs Kraft.
