Back in March, burglars broke into the Bode Museum and stole a coin. Not just some coin, but the Canadian “Big Maple Leaf” coin … and this is one big coin: three-centimeter (1.2-inch) thick gold coin, with a diameter of 53 centimeters (20.9 inches) and a face value of 1 million Canadian dollars ($750,000). However, weight alone it would be worth almost $4.5 million at market price. Like I said, that is one BIG coin!
