Edouard Cortes “Soir de Neige”
Source: Soir de Neige – here is something a little different from one of our favorite artist … Edouard Cortes (1882-1969). Most people associate the artist with Parisian street scenes, but he also painted numerous views of the fields, villages and towns outside of Paris. Here we are presenting Soir de Neige, a beautiful winter’s evening village scene, most likely done in the area surrounding Lagny-sur-Marne … an area that today is very close to Disneyland, Paris!
