Oliver Wick
Seem there were so many people involved in the Knoedler scandal. A recent story by Laura Gilbert, in The Art Newspaper, shines a light on one of them. Seems Frank Fertitta sued Swiss art historian Oliver Wick over the fake Rothko he bought. While a Swiss court dismissed the case, it appears the two have made some sort of settlement.
According to Ms. Gilbert, 7 of the 10 lawsuits brought against Knoedler have already been settled. Oh what a tangled web we weave….
