Well, it seems classic Archie is coming back! According to David Betancourt’s Washington Post article: Fan-favorite Archie artist Dan Parent is returning with “Your Pal Archie,” which will debut in print and digitally on July 26. The series will be written and inked by Ty Templeton and edited by Victor Gorelick, who is now in his 60th year with Archie Comics.
Dan has been working at Archie Comics for 30 years and continues to draw in the tradition and style of Dan DeCarlo and Bob Montana (one of the original Archie creators and artists).
