A hyper-realistic painting of “Panchito,” one of the 9,000+ bombers built to service the U.S. Army Air Forces, U.S. Marine Corps and the air forces of Britain, Canada, Australia, Russia, China, Brazil and the Netherlands East Indies during World War II. Following the war, the B-25s continued to play a large role in the U.S. Air Force and the air forces of Canada, Indonesia, and many Latin American countries. “Panchito” was named after the Mexican rooster from the 1945 Disney animated musical The Three Cabarellos.
